Dr. Maria Angela Cancado

General Dentistry

Dr. Maria Angela Cancado received a DMD from the University of Itauna Foundation in Brazil in 1987 and a DMD from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2002. She received additional training in both dental prosthesis and periodontology at Paulista Association of Dental Surgeons and the University of Sao Paulo, both in Brazil. She is licensed to practice in both Brazil and Massachusetts.

Before joining Boston University Dental Health Center, Dr. Cancado worked as a general dentist at Brazilian Dental Center in Framingham and Brazil Dental Center in Somerville. She spent an additional eight years practicing general dentistry in private practice.

Dr. Cancado is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
