Kathy Mazzochia
Hygienist
Kathy is a registered dental hygienist with over 20 years of experience. She started her dental career in the United States Army and went on to earn her degree in health science from Northeastern University and graduated from The Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in 1992. She is also licensed to administer local anesthesia.
Kathy spent much of her career in private practice where she felt rewarded giving exceptional care to her patients in a calm and caring atmosphere. Her patients comfort and well being are always her main concern. Before joining the Boston University Dental Health Center in October 2017, she spent the past 8 years teaching local anesthesia and clinical dental hygiene as an adjunct faculty member at The Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Kathy values her patient relationships and makes it a priority to deliver gentle and compassionate care to all her patients. She is very excited to be a part of a professional dental team where cutting edge technology and quality care are of the utmost importance. She continues to further her dental knowledge through continuing education courses.
Kathy resides in Middleton with her husband Joe and their two children Joey and Gianna.
